Terms of service

Last updated: 13 August 2026.

Between you and TAPTAKE BİLİŞİM (contact@taptake.net), reachable at info@usesight.app. Governed by Turkish law.

1. What Sight is

A browser that applies a filter you asked for, and that makes turning the filter off take longer than a moment. It is a tool for keeping a decision you already made.

2. Who it is for

Adults, setting limits on themselves, on their own device. You must be 18 or older.

It is not a parental control product and not a monitoring product. Installing it on someone else's phone to restrict or observe them is not permitted here, and depending on where you are it may also be unlawful. The app has no way to report to anyone on what was browsed, and that is deliberate.

3. What it does not promise

The filter is imperfect and always will be. It withholds ordinary things and it lets unwanted things through. On a measured set of 1177 ordinary photographs the default setting withheld about one in a hundred, and the model behind it reports roughly nine in ten explicit images correctly on its own test data. Neither number is a guarantee and both will be different on your phone.

The waiting period is a deterrent, not a prison. It resists the obvious ways around it: moving the phone's clock does nothing, because the countdown never reads a clock, and clearing the app's data does not end it, because the same wait is held against the device on our server. It does not resist everything and is not meant to. Sight can be uninstalled at any time, other browsers exist, and no app can prevent either. If you need something stronger than a limit you are choosing to keep, you need something other than an app.

Filtering applies inside Sight only. Other apps and other browsers on the same phone are untouched.

4. The people you name

If you list someone to be told when you ask to turn filtering off, you confirm that you have their agreement. Ask them before you type their address, not after.

We ask them as well. Adding an address sends one invitation to it, and nothing else is sent unless the person holding it agrees. If they do not answer, they receive nothing further and you are relying on nobody: the app shows you who has agreed and who has not.

Every message, including the invitation, carries a one-click way to remove themselves that requires nothing from you and does not notify you. We honour it immediately and permanently: nothing is ever sent to that address again, by you or by anyone else. It can still be typed into the form, where it will sit looking like an address that was asked and never answered, because telling you which of the two it is would be telling you something that is theirs.

Listing someone who has not agreed is a breach of these terms.

5. What we ask of you

Do not use Sight to restrict or monitor another person. Do not attempt to break into the service, other people's devices, or other people's data. Do not use it where it is unlawful to do so.

6. The service can be unavailable

The waiting period is counted on your device and does not depend on the server. Everything else does: the notifications, the list and model updates, and the record that makes a wait survive a reinstall. We do not promise a level of availability, and the service may change or stop.

If we stop it, we will say so in the app at least 30 days beforehand. Waits already running continue on your device. Data held on the server is deleted.

7. Price

Sight is free to use at present. If a paid tier is introduced, existing installations keep working and the price and terms will be presented before anything is charged. Any purchase made through Google Play or the App Store is also subject to that store's terms, and refunds are handled by the store.

8. Liability

Sight is provided as it is.

To the extent Turkish law allows, we are not liable for what the filter did or did not catch, for content that reached you, or for what followed from either.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Turkish consumer legislation places beyond agreement. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights under the Turkish Consumer Protection Law are unaffected by anything in this section, and if you are in the EU the equivalent protections of your own country apply.

9. Ending it

You may stop using Sight and uninstall it at any time.

Deleting what the server holds is a request you can make at any time; see the privacy policy. Uninstalling alone does not delete it, for the reason given there.

We may end your access if you use the service against section 5 or section 4.

10. Disputes

If something goes wrong, write to info@usesight.app first. Most things are faster to fix than to argue about.

These terms are governed by Turkish law and the courts of Turkey have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country, nor of the right to bring proceedings there where that law gives it to you.

11. Changes

Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Sight afterwards means accepting them. If you do not accept them, you can uninstall, and you can ask for your data to be deleted.
